their skills, or professionals seeking a recognised QQI qualification.
The course guides you through a structured process to identify training needs and design relevant, engaging programmes. You’ll apply theory to real-world
scenarios and leave equipped to assess, plan, and organise impactful training interventions.

You will learn how to:

Understand the evolution of workplace learning
Define strategic L&D in organisations, including theory, frameworks, structures, and
governance
Recognise the impact of L&D and the competencies needed in the future
Identify, design, and implement a Learning Needs Analysis process
Define the key components of the L&D design process
Develop effective learning objectives, outcomes and content for an optimum learning
experience
Explore contemporary developments in learning technologies and a range of
appropriate use cases

Course Requirements

Applicants for the Training Needs Analysis & Design must:

Applicants must be basic competent and comfortable participating in a virtual environment e.g., Zoom
Be at least 18 years of age by January 1^st of the year of application;
Hold a Leaving Certificate/FETAC level 5 qualification or equivalent (it is assumed that participants will have an underlying foundational working knowledge/experience/interest in L&D and/or training).
All applicants whose first language is not English must have attained B2+ or the equivalent TOEFL score

Applicants must have access to a computer, stable WiFi, camera, speakers and microphone.

€995 non-funded

Cancelation Fees:

Notice of less than 10 working days: 100% of course fee.

Notice of 10 – 60 working days: 50% of course fee.
