About the Course
- Explain the systematic training cycle
- Apply the core competencies of the training administrator's role
- Use a systematic process for planning, administering and promoting training
- Review how to track training costs and monitor budgets
- Evaluate training and produce relevant data
Who should Undertake the Programme?
Participants will attend a one-day training course. The programme content has been broken down into four integrated modules and is delivered in a highly participative and practical manner.
The structure is as follows:
- Module 1 - Learning and Development as an integral part of the business
- Module 2 – Planning and Administering Training
- Module 3 – Tracking training cost and budget responsibility
- Module 4 – A day in the life of a Training Administrator
A range of learning methods and approaches will be used to promote the practical application of theoretical concepts covered.
AIMS
To provide participants with the knowledge of why L&D is an integral part of the business.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this module, participants will be able to:
- Define the Learning & Development Function.
- Explain reasons for Learning & Development within a company.
- Identify what are the benefits from a planned and systematic approach to training & development.
- Briefly describing the different terminologies of learning, development training, education job role and task.
- Introduce the systematic training cycle.
- Identify the administrator foundation competencies.
- Introduce a Strategic Model of the different areas of Learning & development.
AIMS
To provide participants with the knowledge of planning and administering training
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this module, participants will be able to:
- Explain the difference of Policies Vs Strategy.
- Overview of difference training sections.
- Explain why a Learning Management System (LMS) is needed.
- Explain how knowledge management and training plans are combines together.
- Introduce various training records.
AIMS
To provide participants with a brief knowledge of training costs and budget responsibilities
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this module, participants will be able to:
- List reasons why a training budget is important within a company.
- Identify the various differences between learning costs, training costs and opportunity costs.
- Explain the different natures of costs - direct costs, indirect costs and full costs.
- Introducing examples of training budgets files.
- Listing various evaluations models and each of their uses.
- Introducing samples evaluation forms.
